เมื่อวันที่ ๓๑ พฤษภาคม ๒๕๕๗ นายกฤต ไกรจิตติ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้ร่วมชมการแข่งขันมวยไทย Evolution 27: the Best of Malaysia ซึ่งจัดโดย Elite Boxing และ Dragon Muay Thai ที่โรงแรมวันเวิร์ลด เมืองเปอตาลิงจายา รัฐสลังงอร์ ในลักษณะงานกาลาดินเนอร์ โดยมีผู้เข้าแข่งขันจากทั้งไทย มาเลเซีย และประเทศอื่น ๆ รวม ๕ ทวีป และผู้เข้าชมรวมกว่า ๕๐๐ คน โดยในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตได้เป็นผู้แทนสภามวยไทยโลกมอบโล่เกียรติยศจากพลเอกพิจิตร กุลละวณิชย์ องคมนตรี แก่สมาคมมวยไทยแห่งมาเลเซียในเพื่อขอบคุณที่ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการแข่งขันมวยไทยสมัครเล่นชิงแชมป์โลกที่เกาะลังกาวีเมื่อเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ ๒๕๕๗ ที่ผ่านมา โดยได้กล่าวแสดงความยินดีที่มวยไทยกำลังเป็นที่นิยมในมาเลเซียมากขึ้น โดยเห็นได้จากจำนวนค่ายฝึกซ้อมมวยไทยที่มีจำนวนมากกว่า ๒๕๐ ค่าย

 

On 31 May 2014, H.E. Mr. Krit Kraichitti, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, attended the "Evolution 27: the Best of Malaysia" Muay Thai gala dinner, organized by Elite Boxing in corporation with Dragon Muay Thai at One World Hotel, Damansara, Selangor Darul Ehsan. The event featured Muay Thai fighters from Thailand, Malaysia and many more countries in five continents, and was attended by over 500 ticket holders. On this occasion, His Excellency presented a memorabilia plaque to the Malaysia Muay Thai Association, in appreciation of its role in hosting the World Amateur Muay Thai Championship in Langkawi back in February this year, and spoke of his delight that Muay Thai is becoming increasingly popular in Malaysia as the number of Muay Thai gyms and clubs have already surpassed the 500 milestone.
